Amsterdam Hotels for a Boys’ Holiday

27 January, 2012 | | No Comment

Me and the lads are heading off on our Amsterdam holiday in just a month, so I’ve been looking at Amsterdam hotels for us to stay in. I can’t wait! I haven’t hung out with just me and the lads – no girls – for months and months. We’re going to do all the touristy and hilarious stuff; there’s apparently a great zoo there, and also some kind of Heineken Experience where you get a tour of the brewery and free tasters of loads of beer. I’m excited to visit the red light district as well, people have told me that it’s a pretty intense night out around there, so I’m really looking forward to it.

We’re still not sure whether or not Gary and Simon are definitely coming, but it’s going to be fun even without them. Budgie, Dirtbox, Nathan, Michael, Jack, Fingers, and The Stink are all confirmed. All the lads back together!

While Mauritius is an exotic island, the population living there is very welcoming you will love your 1st day there. When you get to this island, apart from the pristine beaches and lagoon is the Mauritian food which is so delightful. What makes it so is the fact that the island has a multicultural population that has mixed the best European cuisine with the Asian cuisine to come up with the most succulent and fascinating dishes.

After you done tasting a dish or 2, look out for the local fruits, these are not only succulent but also colorful. Some of the fruits on the island are juicy mangoes, pineapple, and letchis.

When you are done with the foods and fruits, you can take a stroll as you will be able to appreciate the cultural sites of this island. It is these that give the island its character, for example, Port Louis got its name from Louis XV of France and it has got a number of colonial buildings that you will obviously love to see.

As you can see, Mauritius holidays can not be compared to any other because here you learn, relax and have fun in one go.

My Trip Planning for Florence

7 January, 2012 | | No Comment

My boyfriend and I are doing something out of the ordinary for our Christmas vacation time. Instead of celebrating our normal traditions in the United States of America, we decided to explore a foreign country as an exciting alternative. In addition to this being a vacation, I am so sure it will truly be a great learning experience for both my boyfriend and myself. We decided upon travelling to Florence, Italy. Florence is so beautiful and full of rich culture that it seemed like the best place to go. I planned the whole trip last month. We booked a lovely hotel room and paid for our plane tickets ahead of time to make things go more smoothly. We looked into car hire Florence online and found a great car company to rent us a vehicle. This way our travel will go smoothly. I am so excited for this trip for the holiday!

I Need to Hire a Car to Take Me to the Malaga Train Station

1 January, 2012 | | No Comment

I need to hire a car hire company in order to send someone to pick me up at the airport and take me to Malaga’s train station. I think that 1st for car hire malaga can help me with my request. I have to hire the car as soon as possible because I am traveling to Spain in a week. I waited until the last minute to hire the car because I totally forgot to do it. I thought that I was all set to go on my trip, but I just realized that I had no car to pick me up at the airport and to take me to the train station. I am glad that I found out about this before leaving the country. I hate finding myself in weird situations, especially when I am not too familiar with the destination that I am traveling to. I always try to do everything ahead of time, so there are no surprises when I get to my destination.

Historic Hartbeespoort Dam - the battle against water pollutionThere is no shortage of self-catering bed and breakfast hartbeespoort which are available for hire all year round. These chalets can range in style and size, but they are all fully-equipped and privately owned. From eco-chalets, to zen-Afrique to wooden chalets, you can find them all in this area. Nestled at the foot of the Magaliesberg is Hartbeespoort, which has become a renowned area because of its dam, which is still a working dam but part of which is reserved for recreation purposes. The Cradle of Humankind, which was declared a World Heritage Site in 1999, the majestic Magaliesberg mountains and the wonderful scenery also make it a beautiful place to visit at any time of the year. You can take part in some of the many sporting activities on offer or take a relaxing walk in nature, play with the cheetahs or visit some cultural spots, but whatever you do, being able to go back to your private chalet at night is great.

The Destination Wedding Cost That Takes the Worries Away

15 December, 2011 | | No Comment

There are so many things that can cause you so much stress when it comes to matrimonies but one destination wedding cost that takes the worries away is one that is lower than your budget.

When we talk about destination weddings we know already that it is fun-filled and exciting. However, what bothers us is usually the cost. Considering the transportation, food and accommodation, we can round up the numbers easily to some hundreds of dollars. Then there’s the ceremony, the reception and the honeymoon and those would be an additional cost again. Then multiply that by the number of guests then your brain is frozen. Before you even imagine saying your I do’s, your mind is probably thinking, impossible! It is too expensive indeed.

However, before you even cancel the idea you must know that the grand total is lower because there is a way to minimize a destination wedding cost and once you get the final total you might even book your wedding tomorrow.

An Educational but Relaxing Trip

13 December, 2011 | | No Comment

To do my research on my upcoming trip, I looked up “koh Samui Thailand” because I knew little to nothing about the destination when my mom told me that she would be sending me there for my birthday. I actually have never really left the country before, so this is going to be a huge new experience for me. I’m willing to let it in with open arms though; I’m way excited to relax in the sun, but I’m even more excited to explore the historical aspects of Thailand. I hope that there are many museums and monuments nearby, as well as historical buildings that I can enter and study when I get out there. I’m a big history buff, as I’m a teacher here in the states, and I know that I’ll be able to take lots of pictures and take down lots of information that will inspire me for years to come.
